Some of your instructors might refer to the concept of a "mediated image." What does this mean?
In the context of Fashion History 1850-2000, a mediated image should be taken to mean "an image presented in a historical context." Please try to steer clear of theatrical costume, religious dress, or work or military uniforms.
What do you do if you found an image on the Internet but cannot remember the source or have no idea who created the image? Try using Google's Search by Image tool to do a reverse image search (click on the Camera icon).
