Faculty Resources at The New School Libraries and Archives

General Information

Each library within the New School Libraries and Archives is available to provide instruction sessions and tours of their facilities. To schedule an instruction session, contact a Subject Librarian or fill out the Instruction request form.

Please allow a minimum of two weeks to schedule an instruction session or tour.

Please be prepared to provide the following information regarding your course:

  1. Your name and contact information (email, telephone)
  2. Course information (course name & number, location, meeting time, degree program)
  3. Number of students in class
  4. Syllabus
  5. Duration of library or archives orientation desired
  6. Desired learning outcomes

Even if you don't require a librarian or archivist, if you plan on bringing your class to the library or using archives for a class project, do let us know!  We can reserve a table or materials for your class, or meet with you to discuss how our resources may be used to suit your needs.
