Because of space limitations at the New School Libraries, a number have materials have been sent to an offsite location. These materials are still accessible and may be requested through BobCat.
Search for the title you need in BobCat. Check on the "check library holdings (getit)" link. Please note: If the link reads "Available in your library" or "Available in consortium" than you do not need to place a request. You can pick these item up at the lending library.
If the location indicates that it is offsite, you will need to submit a request (indicated by the blue link on the left-hand side of the record).
Select "Request" next to the item you wish to recall or request from off-site
You will then be prompted to enter your University ID number and the first four letters of your last name*.
If your last name consists of three letters or less, you can simply use
your full last name.
*Note: this step is unnecessary if you have
already logged in.
Press the "Order" button at the bottom of the page
