WorldCat, or World Catalogue, developed by OCLC, is North American-centric, covering collections of small and medium-sized libraries, as well as those of larger ones. It includes some libraries abroad as well. It is the mega-database libraries turn to for definitive citation information and information on interlibrary loan availability.
Writers at all levels of skill can benefit from the Learning Center's individual tutoring services. Students can work with tutors on any phase of the writing process, from brainstorming ideas to developing an outline or rough draft to revising and editing. Students are encouraged to meet with a tutor early in the writing process. In addition to offering general writing tutors, there are ESL specialists who can assist students whose first language is not English.
