Lang Library Orientation Student Guide

The New School has 3 library locations and one archives location.  Find our hours and locations on our website.

Libraries: You will need a valid, current New School ID card to enter library buildings; you do not need to swipe again to enter the library.  Borrow materials with your New School ID.   Renew books, request E-ZBorrow, and more, when you're signed into your library account in BobCat, the library catalog.  Assistance is available at the information desk of each library whenever the library is open.  Reference hours are generally 10am to 5pm.  The University Center Library also has evening hours (Mon-Thu until 9pm) and weekend hours (Sun 12pm to 8pm).

Archives: Archives are accessed by appointment only.
