In this orientation, we will take a tour of library resources and services together. Today's lesson:

  2. Go to the library website at library.newschool.edu 
  3. Note the link in the banner to the library updates guide.
  4. Search the library catalog (Books & More) to find books, articles, and more on your topic.
    - Note that this is not a full-text search.  Filter to books only: Resource Types -> Books.

  7. How to perform an Advanced Search in the library catalog
  8. How to request books from our collections or not in our collections: Login to request 
  9. Now go back to the library website https://library.newschool.edu/
  10. Click on Browse Databases and select Interior Design as your subject. 
  11. Go to "Bloomsbury Design Library"
  12. Search using our example keywords: memphis 
  13. Go to "ARTstor"
  14. Search in title field using keyword: memphis
