Reference Databases

A reference work is used in the preliminary stages of research. Subject-specific entries help researchers find a concise overview of a topic, gain context, and gather additional sources.

Article Databases

Many of these databases provide “full-text” which means that articles are available to read online. When articles are not full-text, they are sometimes available through other databases or can be requested through interlibrary loan (see our FAQ page for help with interlibrary loan).  Ask Us if you need help finding an article!
