Copyright

Copyright laws are designed to promote creativity and innovation in the arts and sciences for the betterment of society by establishing and protecting the rights of content creators.

The New School Libraries & Archives have created a Copyright & Fair Use Guide to serve as an introduction for faculty and students to some of the core principles in the law, such as fair use, that are relevant to how materials may be used in the classroom and how these uses intersect with library resources and services.
