Provides profiles of all U.S. cities including thousands of pictures, maps, satellite photos, stats about residents (race, income, ancestries, education, employment...), geographical data, crime data, housing, businesses, political contributions, weather, hospitals, schools, libraries, houses, airports, radio and TV stations, zip codes, area codes, user-submitted facts, similar cities list and comparisons to averages.
ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research) This link opens in a new window
ICPSR contains the largest collection of social science data available. The topics covered are innumerable and data can be both quantitative or qualitative in nature. Special data archives include "Census 2000 at ICPSR," "Child Care and Early Education Research Connections," "Election 2000 at ICPSR," "Health and Medical Care Archive," "Homicide Research Working Group," "International Archive of Education Data," "National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging," "National Archive of Criminal Justice Data," "Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods," and "Substance Abuse & Mental Health Data Archive."

This database, provided by Baruch College (CUNY), supplies statistics on NYC’s population and economy, trade and transportation, governance, and arts and entertainment. Included are sections on demographics, housing, and tourism.

Statista is an online statistics, market research and business intelligence portal. It provides access to data from market and opinion research institutions, as well as from business organizations and government institutions in English, French, German and Spanish. Statista also provides data on market forecasts, white paper studies, dossiers, industry reports, digital market outlooks and consumer market outlooks.
