LibCabinets (January 2025)

LibCabinets are book lending machines. They serve as curated, capsule library branches that: 

• allow patrons to seamlessly and conveniently encounter and check out items;
• fulfill patrons’ expressed desire to engage with physical materials;
• raise the profile of underrepresented voices;
• promote equity and belonging.

The locations for piloting the two LibCabinets are as follows:

• LibCabinet 1 - 39 W 13th Street on the 2nd floor
• LibCabinet 2 - the lobby of 66 W 12th Street
