This toolkit aims to help book authors to better understand open access book publishing and to increase trust in open access books. You will be able to find relevant articles on open access book publishing following the research lifecycle, by browsing frequently asked questions or by searching with keywords.

The ISSN Portal, published by the ISSN International Centre, allows you to search through the worldwide database of ISSN bibliographic records, identifying and describing more than 2.3 million newspapers, magazines, journals, monographic series and continuing resources of all kinds, both print and online, in 234 countries.

Avoid predatory journals through a range of tools and practical resources. This international, cross-sector initiative aims to educate researchers, promote integrity, and build trust in credible research and publications.

COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) is committed to educating and supporting editors, publishers, universities, research institutes, and all those involved in publication ethics.

The site consolidates Sherpa Services [Romeo (aggregates and analyses publisher open access policies from around the world and provides summaries of publisher copyright and open access archiving policies on a journal-by-journal basis), Juliet (up-to-date information concerning funders' policies and their requirements on open access, publication and data archiving), Fact (guidance to researchers on whether a journal complies with a funder's open access policies)] in to one handy tool. With the addition of Open Access Books, Open Access compliance and Transitional Agreement look-up tools.

Your Web of Science Researcher Profile is the public facing element of your Web of Science account where other members of the community can see the publications, verified peer reviews, verified editor records, current editorial board memberships and metrics that make up your verified record of contributions to research.

Google Scholar Profiles provide a simple way for authors to showcase their academic publications. You can check who is citing your articles, graph citations over time, and compute several citation metrics. You can also make your profile public, so that it may appear in Google Scholar results when people search for your name.

Author Pages shows information to Amazon customers about you and your books, such as your bibliography, biography, and profile photos.
