If you're creating a list from scratch, you will be asked to name your new list. This name can be anything you like. Its default title will be the course code and abbreviated course title. You can change this, and you can associate a list with any course that you teach. Click next.

Now, you can determine how your list will be organized. Under Create List Sections, you'll see you can organize your list by Weeks or Default. With either of these options, you can click and drag readings and list sections into whatever order you choose.

Organize by Weeks will create as many as 20 numbered weekly containers. You can always add or delete containers later.
Organize by Resources will create a single section where all items will appear.
