Wiki your way to a biography
Since Wikipedia is not yet an acceptable scholarly tool, you cannot cite it for scholarly research. However, the site is very useful for finding sources. For example, if I search for "Louis Armstrong," I can look at the bottom of the article at the notes, recommendations for further reading, etc., for any resources that might be useful.
