Use this guide to learn how to access and use our e-book databases.
Access from off-campus: Sign into MyNewSchool and click on 'Libraries' in the Apps Locker. From the library website, you can:
- Search by title, author, or publisher in the library catalog; or
- Click on "Browse Databases" on the library website and then select E-books from the Database Types drop-down menu for a list of ebook databases.
JSTOR is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to create and maintain a trusted archive of important scholarly journals and to provide access to these journals as widely as possible. Content in JSTOR spans many disciplines, primarily in the humanities and social sciences. Recent articles are generally not available.
The New School Subject Librarians are available to provide personalized 1-on-1 assistance for students, faculty and staff in search strategies, evaluating sources, research methods, developing assignments and more. Schedule an appointment with a Subject Specialist using the Libraries online form.
