Rendering Revolution

About the Exhibition

Rendering Revolution/Revolisyon toupatou delves into the profound impact of the Haitian Revolution on contemporary art and fashion. This bilingual exhibition is inspired by @renderingrevolution, a social media platform exploring Haitian visual culture founded by Siobhan Meï and Jonathan Square. Through a blend of fashion, textile art, and site-specific installations, Revolisyon toupatou showcases the genius of creatives of Haitian descent, inviting visitors to explore the enduring legacy of the Haitian Revolution and its powerful expression in art and design.

The exhibition will run from January 1 - February 15, 2025 and is open to the public. Visiting hours are 12pm - 6pm, seven days a week. The Instagram page @renderingrevolution has further information on planning a visit.

An artist discussion and reception will be held on January 23, 2025. Please visit the public program's information page for more information about this free event.
