Product Design

A guide to the digital and print library resources for product design at The New School.

Databases house a variety of different types of information, from periodicals to videos to music to photographs. They are often services that we subscribe to, or they may be a platform for information we already own.

Databases can be very interdisciplinary and general, or they can be very specific.

We've helped organize them for you on our Databases A-Z page of the library website.
Product Design Research is very multidisciplinary -- it draws from Art History, Design, Fashion, Interior Design, and more!

We recommend looking at the Product Design Databases page or the Databases A-Z list for these topics. Some specific databases that may guide you in the right direction are:

Bloomsbury Design Library
Material Connexion
MATREC -- Sustainable Materials and Trends
