Latinx and Indigenous Studies

This guide is to assist The New School community members when researching Latinx and Indigenous Studies.


Use the Books & More search box on The New School Libraries & Archives website to find books for background information and to obtain bibliographies (list of articles and other books) you can follow up on.

  • Fill in Search Form with your keywords
  • Work interactively with your results list to find books on your topic:
    • Go to Refine My Results -  Resource Type: Books
    • Click on Subject for suggestions in how to focus your search
    • Log In (upper right hand corner) in order to be able to read New School e-books online; have books delivered to the library and access your library account.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL):
    • To request books, book chapters, or journal articles that are not available in our collections, use the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. You can do this through the More Access Option widget on the detailed record page or through the 'My Account' option located on the upper right corner of the Libraries' website.
