History of Design & Curatorial Studies

A guide for students in the MAMA History of Design & Curatorial Studies offered in conjunction with the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum.

Library databases complement the library catalog.  We subscribe to hundreds of research databases and the library catalog searches within selected databases.

Find periodical articles (from newspapers, magazines, and journals), ebooks, reference sources, multimedia, and more. Databases offer advanced search tools, and tools for managing research.

To access: Go to the library website and click on 'Browse Databases.'  The databases are organized alphabetically, by subject, and by type.

Ask Us if you need help selecting a research database, or if you have any suggestions or recommendations.

Databases are also available through research libraries such as the New York Public Library.
